Baltimore is to remain under curfew for the fifth night on Saturday, Police Commissioner Anthony Batts said after meeting with Baltimore's mayor and Maryland's governor for a status report on demonstrations in the city still scarred from the fires and looting that occurred earlier this week.
Batts said the 10 p.m. curfew will not be lifted because "the violence of last Monday was unprecedented for this city...tonight we see some of the same people of Baltimore that were here last Monday.
