Extra Hour, you were more than just an excuse to stay under our blankets for 60 more minutes, you were our reason for dreaming an extra hour. You helped us avoid the morning commute for just a little longer and stave off the night on our way home. When conventional wisdom said, “Hey you! Get to work!” Extra Hour, you stared society back in the eye and said, “Nah, chill.”
You did what was mathematically impossible, you made 8 a.m. feel like 9 a.m. Your only flaw was flying too close to the sun (or too far away from it. I don’t know exactly how it works.) Read more...
